A question to those that have a companion in FO 4. Do they get in the way????

I took the dog and I can't say how many times I want/wanted to shoot it. When I am in the sneak mode the dog has its nose in my face blocking my shots. When running the dog cuts in front of me or runs at my side causing me to choose a slightly different path or stop to be able to go a different direction. Or blocks me and won't let me pass until it moves out in the open where I can get around it. This happens about 75% of the time while in a critical situation.

But the game is still fun.

I've never really had that problem when I had the dog at all. Only sometimes when I'm in building mode in a settlement would a companion get in my way of placing something on the ground. Now I just tell them to stay in a spot until I'm done building. But when I'm out running around outside of settlements, haven't had that issue.

I gave up on the dog for now. He keeps running to the enemy and getting beat up pretty good. I'm tires of wasting Stimpacks on him. Besides, the lack of opposable thumbs make it impossible to equip him with a Laser Rifle. Strong always gets in my way and blocks doorways. I have to 'push' him out of the way by ramming into him. I gave Cait a suit of Power Armor but she's tearing that up too fast. Running in a Power Suit can deplete the Fusion Core in a hurry. IDK if there is a way to get her out of it now.

You have to speak to Cait and initiate a trade with them in order to move items between you.

I have successfully given her a T-45 arm and a leg. I found myself a X-01 suit earler. I should go around and collect all of the Power Armor I have found already and park them at Sanctuary for later use.How do you turn the helmet light on and off? I see him turning it on the following video.
I found a video on the whereabouts of the 'Ultimate' version of Power Armor here:

Hold TAB.
I found it out by mistake.

How many of you brave souls not using Power Armor? I tried it a few times and while it does provide good protection, it just feels different. I have a couple of sets of it along with quite a few power sources.

Cait won't be using Power Armor anymore. That girl is rough on Power Armor. I try to block as many shots as I can but when we get back to Sanctuary and I go to repair her armor there isn't anything left except for the torso. I'm running out of parts.

I don't use power armor as I like to be a sneaky sniper!

I haven't been using it either. I've only used one power core in it and after it was depleted, my power armor has just sat at a settlement.
