You're thinking of BF3PRO.

Wait for the game to go on sale.

Or if you're really patient, wait for them to release all the DLC's and then get the GOTY or whatever they call and have everything at once.  And on sale.   That's what I did with Skyrim.  I didn't get the game till all the DLC's were out and most of the bugs corrected by the modders.

Yes, thank you sir. I saw his thread, which got locked, and he was asking some questions about Fallout 4. You have a good point about waiting for the GOTY edition to come out, and like you said, will probably have the DLC content included on that anyway. Meanwhile, we'll let Bethesda milk in their money when the DLC comes out, and you know a lot of people will still buy it while they wait for the next ES to come out. I know I will, because I want to know what they are going to add to this game. I played through Fallout 4. And as much as I hate to say this, I'm not want to start over on my character, and redo the whole game over again.

I will go back and play with Nick Valentine after I am finished with Curie. That Valentine quest explains all of those holo-tapes I am finding in the jails. I am starting to tinker with DOOM 3 too lately.

Nick Valentine was extremely boring so I am traveling with Curie again. The doctor is still ignoring me so I guess I have to travel some more with Curie. Curie is good in combat. She gets between me and any granades and is dead on with her weapons. I didn't know she had it in her to be honest. I thought Curie was a scientist not an assassin.

Do you know what Curie has for carry weight? Also, does she have a high hit point count? Dog Meat is really getting me in the shoot and stab mood with him. But then he got worse when I bought that other dog LOL.

So, apparently 128(?) (or is it 117?) damage rifle scoped damage does not do that big of an impact on an enemy from far away. So, I took my bolt rifle that adds 10 energy damage with .308 rounds (.50 is more scarce than .308), with a regular "dot", and then I took my double shot bolt rifle and added the .50 rounds with an attached scope. That made a huge impressive change, and now, from a far distance, I do almost instant kills from such a great distance.

I put the difficulty on very hard, and it definitely adds a challenge. You definitely want to make sure you head shot them before they get up close. Definitely getting swarmed by those giant mosquitos adds a real challenge now.

Has anyone shot at a mini nuke being held by a super mutant? Good times...

I ran into that same conclusion when I was using my 50 CAL. I essentially got the same results with the 308 as I did with the 50 so I parked that bad boy. But I have so much 50 CAL and I don't want to sell it.

The mosquitos are nasty. The best weapon that I use against them is my shotgun and that takes a couple of rounds.

Good times? One can only imagine. LOL

Preston Garvey needs to die.

I thought that once I freed up The Castle he would chill out a bit.  Oh no...

*sigh*

Ya I just love how he calls you the general, but he's giving you orders...

He's trying to be PC and not hurt your feelings. LOL

Does Valentine give out side quests?
In case you don't know it there is a bulletin board in Diamond City that gives out missions. No caps from the city however but it is a lead. Also talk to the settlement population as they usually have something.

Yes once you reach max affection with him he gives you a quest that has to do with events from the cops memories he got on events that transpired before the war. He also gives out two quest with case logs you must manually pick up, only pick up one case log at a time sometimes picking up both will bug one of them out. Not going to say more than that.

I have one of those case logs and I will stay at one at a time. I don't really want to take on another companion at this time but have really considered it.

Well apparently my luck ran out.   It would seem that another settlement is threatened by something... Again.     And once again the "threat" is on the other side of the map.  So how were they threatened in the first place?  And seriously, they all have guns and between the various turrets at that settlement, nothing is getting too close.

I just got back from a situation that is like yours. Got the warning and it was on the other side of the map. Fast traveled to that settlement and landed right in the middle of the Gunners and was immediately knocked down. About 5 seconds later I was dead. Gunners are nasty and tough in general but when in a large pack, ouch. The second time around was the same landing but I didn't stop running. I ran into the settlement, stimpacked  and let the auto defense take over. That was a tough fight. Missiles, lasers and bullets all over the place. This settlement has almost a 200% defense and I have to question weather those units that are extremely high were inactive due to their distance (height wise) from the action.

From what I noticed from that battle is that the Gunners must be hurting for people because I saw a lot of recruits in this one where I never saw them before. LOL

To the subzero-guy-user (rofl . I forgot your username)...  It's good. Just buy it. You won't regret it.

This. It is fun and you will have a few hours into it.

Contrary to popular belief most of the bugs are fixed by official patches.  With Fallout 4 however those patches are taking a while...

From what I heard about the patching was from Skyrim which also applies here. The reason for the delays are due to checking out the patches without doing any damage to the rest of the game. According to them it takes a while.

Anyway, I haven't hit any big bugs in Fallout 4.

The bugs I hit were very small in my opinion. Considering the size of this game it surprisingly turned out fairly decent.
