I meant when my character isn't moving the shadows don't move but after a few seconds start to jiggle / shake/ begin moving automatically and stop, and repeat.

I monitored the shadow movement and the only thing I notice is the movement according to in game time. Nothing for what you described.

He ran out of missions for me finally or else he's still mad because I banished him to The Castle. I am busy searching for more side missions and not doing very good at it. Cait took it well when I broke up with her. Piper is really boring and the 'Story of the Century' mission was just an interview. IDK if I even got any XP from that. I have maybe 5 or 6 quests left and then the game is finished. I'll have to pick a side pretty soon.

Does Valentine give out side quests?
In case you don't know it there is a bulletin board in Diamond City that gives out missions. No caps from the city however but it is a lead. Also talk to the settlement population as they usually have something.

I have not hooked up with Nick Valantine yet. I'll check out that billboard and see what I can find. I just know that Piper is very boring and I don't even want to romance her at all!

Well, I parted ways with Piper too and sent her to Sanctuary Hills. She's probably plotting my demise with Cait as I type this. I was travelling with Nick Valentine for a while now but there is nothing left to do. I hooked up with Curie again but the doctor is ignoring me so I can't get her a female Synth body. 

I picked up a mission from Valentine and I don't need him as a companion either. I haven't actually gone out and physically started it yet. I have a few other missions to do first.
 
In regards to you, Curie and the Doctor, try romancing the Doctor. LOL
 
I think you need to hire some "Triggermen" as your bodyguards considering the in game life you lead Casanova. LOL

Nick Valentine was extremely boring so I am traveling with Curie again. The doctor is still ignoring me so I guess I have to travel some more with Curie. Curie is good in combat. She gets between me and any granades and is dead on with her weapons. I didn't know she had it in her to be honest. I thought Curie was a scientist not an assassin.
