I am getting frustrated running out of expansion capability due to the building cap imposed by Bethesda.
There is a way around that problem you know.
Did a little poking around the Bethesda mod site. I guess "Meh" or a simple shrug is the best way to sum up my feelings. There were a few mods that crossed over, but I didn't see anything that immediately grabbed my attention or that I didn't already have.

I'm thinking more along the lines of 'Console Commands' to increase the settlement cap. Somewhere I had seen where your settlement size is based on your Charisma level. IDK, because I have my Power Armor modded to increase my Charisma yet my settlements are maxed out. Hangman's Alley has to be the worst place for a settlement. I have no room to put anything anywhere including beds but the population keeps growing. No room to do much building either. I'm going to need to squeeze a six story condo in the back corner just so these guys have somewhere to sleep. Then I need to put a bunch of those 'garden plots' somewhere so they have something to eat. If they were Cannibals I'd tell them to eat the dead Raiders and Super Mutants.
And you are correct about the cap. Console commands are involved. Not sure if Bethesda has any plans to raise the building cap. But then I've learned not to wait for them. And yes, I am running that mod, I just haven't needed to utilize it as of yet. Not even in my first playthrough where I had some pretty large settlements.
Why not simply turn the signal off so that they'll stop showing up? That's what I've done in this playthrough. I wait till the settlement has enough people in it to support and provisioner and make it viable, then I pop in and turn the signal off. Once I gather up more scrap I'll go in, build the place up a bit more and then turn the signal on for a bit longer.
