don't worry in elder scrolls 6 I'm sure we'll have to wait at least a year after the release to get mod tools, they'll do that to make the release time for the FO4 creation kit look good... of course then the next game will have to wait 2 years... and by the time we get to fallout 7, fallout 8 will be released before it gets construction kit.

elder scrolls 6? They're speculating the release date to be 2019. Wow...

My fittings just arrived in Phoenix so my main PC is down until at least Friday afternoon. I really can't wait that long. The suspense is killing me. I wonder how long I can delay showing up for that battle. Will there still be a slaughter at Bunker Hill if I'm not there to witness the carnage?

Totally gutted. No reservoir, drive cages sitting on the floor. Oh my!

Yeah, after some recent changes with how AVG sends it's info and with it's constant barrages to upgrade, I ditched them on all builds I am doing and moved to Avira. CCleaner is great though as long as you know what you are doing. We had someone use it on a work computer that junked some important registry entries as well as some other small things that were checked and thought of as junk. Thankfully, all of our systems were imaged and it wasn't even worth trying to fix what this guy did.
Anyway, I hope next time around, they do a totally different Fallout game. I love the idea of waking up or having to go into a Fallout shelter with something happening. I love the combat system, crafting and weapons/armor. What I wish they would do different is another take on the characters. The companions were a great add-on but some of the characters seem tired to me. Deathclaws, mirelurks, radscorpions, eyebots and the raider-types as well as the Revolutionary war type stuff just feel over used. The synths were a great addition and I understand there can only be some many variants after a fallout.

Sometimes I also wish they would cut down on all the text on terminals and backstory stuff. Some of it was interesting reading logs and emails but I lost track of who was who and everything else. I think it would be cool to have one set in the LA area with a destroyed Disneyland where you could go inside all the inner workings of the park and roam around Compton. I know that's far out but I think it would be cool.

If they had kept on the Fallout canon storyline, LA is a smoking pile of rubble.  But with Fallout 3 Bethesda kind of did their own thing and pretty much set things in a new Universe.  Then Fallout 4 came out and everything took an abrupt left turn.   I agree that things need to get changed up a bit.   Especially the whole feral ghoul thing.   Ghouls were rare, ferals rarer still.  But according to Fallout 4 about 50% of the human population has apparently been mutated into feral ghouls.

Going insane? I'm already there and past the point of no return. I like it here and I'm not coming back! Fittings are still sitting in Phoenix. I think Amazon is punishing me for not renewing my Prime membership.

Interesting tutorial on the 'Mods' option in the Fallout 4 menu. I know I need to try out that Mini Nuke Minigun. LOL

You need to have 'beta' enabled until the official release of this patch. I going for it, beta or not.

Okay had to skip past a bunch of posts because you guys are farther into the story than I am, despite the length of time I've been playing this.

One thing I will hand to Bethesda, they can make it difficult to stay on task.   Im constantly saying that I intend to pursue the story line, only to get side tracked by somehing else entirely.    This time it's more settlement building.  Or to be more specific it's building my workshop/storage building in Sanctuary.

As for Dogmeat, he has his own personality.   Just watch him when your kicking around a bit, that's when it'll show up.  And despite his obvious limitations in combat, it is kind of nice to not have someone chattering on and on and on about the same old things over and over.

If you are curious about a mod or mods, let me know which one(s).  I'm currently running a total of 90 mods.  So chances are Im probably already using it and can tell you about stability.   Many of the mods Im running aren't affected by the updates and patches while others are.  Yes, if you get one of those mods it will require you to update the mod itself after the game is changed, but if you use a mod manager, it's not that big of a deal.  And it's only really the big mods that need updating.  Alot of your others are simply "set it and forget it" as they tend to affect things that patches don't need to fix.

I personally don't hesitate much when it comes to running mods in a game and I accept the risks and frustrations of doing so.   Personally, I think it takes mods to fix all the stupid crap that Bethesda did or didn't do to the game.

What mods are your using for visuals/ graphics?
I've been looking at the Enhanced Color Correction mod.  I'm curious to know if the visual/ graphics mod are worth it?  I personally feel that the vanilla Fallout 4 looks pretty awesome at 1440p.  But then again I thought Skyrim couldn't look any better and boy was I wrong!
Also, any recommendations on weather mods?  Thanks.
