Well, that didn't work and was a perfectly good waste of 2 hours. Maybe if I delete some of the saves I might get rid of that stuck mission. Every time I go to the Cambridge Police Station for another tech recovery mission that guy Rhys gets snotty with me for not completing his assignment. I hope he gets over it sometime soon. He never goes outside or I would pick him off with my Gauss Sniper Rifle from a distance.

blow a cap mine and/or shoot him in the face.

If he's one of those essential characters you can't kill he might hold a grudge even after I load a previous save. Those NPCs can be devious like that or so I've been told.

What is the name of the quest you are stuck on? You can search the quest ID in the command console and set the stage to a higher value (almost always in factors of 10 but sometimes 5) I have done this on 2 other Bethesda games to fix broken quest progression.

It's one of those 'Cleansing the Commonwealth' missions where I have to clear an area. This one is Breakheart Banks. I went there again yesterday and killed the only remaining living thing, a Mutant Hound, and the Map says (Cleared) under Breakheart Banks but I can't turn it in to get another one. It is still in my PipBoys data saying 'Clear Breakheart Banks' but doesn't say 'Return to Scribe Rhys' like it shoud.

Zuhl... it's a sign from the Fallout god that he wants you to start over, because he feels that your vault dweller is not fit for the future of "Crawling out through the fallout".

I could always grab Liberty Prime and blast The Institute but that would be the end of it. I'd rather side with the Minutemen and the Railroad and sneak in there myself and blow the place to smithereens.

Did that same thing. The spokesperson on Diamon City radio is hilarious when he makes the announcement about that.

Which ending did you choose? I'd really hate to put the BOS in charge of everything instead of the Minutemen.

I went full speed with the minutemen basically. Saw "Father", interrupted his speech and shot him in the head. That was it. Left my kid behind, went to the roof top, and blew it up. Case closed. I can't recall right now who the tech guy is at Sanctuary who helps me open the portal to get to the facility, but honestly, when he questioned my actions about leaving my kid behind, I wanted to leave him behind also.

Another note, BOS has an attitude problem, and every time I go to them they rub in the fact I chose the minutemen over them. Whenever they do that, I just want to shoot them in the face. They're not Boss, I'm the boss.

BOS are the only ones giving me anything to do. I didn't choose them they chose me. I almost feel like I've been drafted similar to the Viet Nam era policy. Preston just wants to have some weird 'little talk' with me but that option to 'Romance' is scaring me. I feel like dumping Piper the next time I see Deacon but I need to get my Power Armor back from her first. Maybe with Deacon I can get some Railroad work again.

I'm thinking about starting over and making a female character who has the most arrogant attitude, and see how far I get on it.

Who knows, maybe BOS will be nicer.
