I waited too long to try the 'resurrect' console command on that mision that won't complete. I need an enemy to 'resurrect' and kill him but all of the dead mutants are gone. I only found a Mutant Hound and I brought it back to life twice and killed it but I got nowhere. I think it is sitting too far outside of Breakhart Banks. Oh well.

 
How much game time would you lose if you loaded a previous save?

I would lose about 5 levels and several days of gameplay if I could even remember where that save was at. I notice that whenever I defend a settlement with Preston, everybody comes up to him afterwards and they thank him profusely while they don't give me the time of day. I notice that the reply 'Thanks to the Minutemen' is gone too and I only have a plain 'Your Wecome' lately. I wonder what I did wrong. Railroad don't give me anything but every time I go there some dweeb runs up to me and says PAM wants to talk to me. I go to PAM and it just stares at me. BOS are the only ones giving me misions.

 
Have you uninstalled then reinstalled the game?

No, not yet. Last resort only.

I changed my Steam settings back to 'Opt out of all beta participation' and it downloaded a massive update and restarted. There were two beta patches for Survival Mode that were removed I guess. Verified game cache again. I'm going to try it soon when I have more coffee and finally wake up here.

Did you get it figured out yet after all that coffee?
 
I linked up with Cait. I have her wearing ballistic weave and armor. I also gave her a 38 cal rifle and 10mm pistol with about 1200 rounds each. Now the questions.
If I go to another companion and then later go back to Cait, will she have the gear that I gave her? That also applies to the rest of the companions.

What do you expect her to do with a pea shooter?

Bring rain on some ones parade. 
Besides, I want to see how fast she burns it up and I have thousands of 38 rounds I'm no longer using. Thus far she has been for the most part conservative with it. I will eventually give her an assault rifle but not as many rounds.

Nothing is more annoying than going to a settlement, where one is being raided, and hearing all those settlers shooting off their pea shooters at the enemies. Sounds like a bunch of kiddy cap guns going off.
 Seriously, the sounds that Bethesda used for the guns is so budget sounding. They really went cheap. I'll give them credit that the .50 cal sounds nice, but their .308 sounds like garbage. Like a Pellet gun, or an air rifle going off, might as well shoot off a paintball gun, jeeze...\
The shotgun even...that doesn't sound real to me.

I'm on a different PC now. I think I burned out my PSU or not. I heard a loud pop so I'll have to test it later. I played on this Windows 10 PC last night and it was the same. It took a while to sync so it must be recorded in one of the saves. Oh well. Easy come, easy go.

Either a Cap or a fusible link. I can't see anything because of the dust inside. RMA applied for already. I'd just buy a new one but I don't have much money right now. Do you think a new PSU would fix that 'stuck' mission or am I just hallucinating?

I'm right there with you. After I RMA'd the first time with the 1st PSU, after it just "died" while taking out the motherboard along with it, I installed the second one, and this one, after pushing the power button, a gunshot went off, which was a capacitor, so now I have to RMA again... I had bad luck last year.
