idk ,im not using mods and what i posted still works ,in theory no limit as long as you have stuff to (R) scrap or can (TAB) to store (not all food items work) ive built some CRAZY settlements

In theory this is correct but sooner or later one runs into a wall and deems all that is there essential. This really comes quickly when your settlement is small to begin with.

One would think that because Bethesda allowed more items to build that count against the settlement's capacity, they would have at least increased the cap level to accommodate this.

I don't use mods either.

I must have killed Art vs Synth Art a dozen times since yesterday. Definitely Zombies! Each time I go to Cambridge Police Station they are a block away shooting it out. I even killed the Synth Art first and the other kept shooting at me. I think I need some Holy Water for my Syringe Rifle. LOL

Just wink at them. With your charisma being so high you can charm the you know what right out of them. Then there is the lead that they used on each other you can charm out of them. LOL

I wish I knew what it was about or how to solve this riddle and at least either make peace between them or make them stay dead. I think I heard one of them shout something like, "Mom always did like you the best".

I made this base on the island, as it's the biggest area to allow the most pieces in one area. It has one entrance to get into with a narrow corridor that you have to go down. There are balconies on both sides of the corridor which leads to defense towers, which are stacked on top of the balconies to give my NPCs a longer view. Then, when you pass the corridor it leads to a bridge that crosses over the corridor and connects both balconies for easy access, where another NPC is guarding another defensive post on top of the bridge which they can look and see down the corridor for any raiders approaching, where 2 shotgun turrets on both sides. As you pass that, 2 concrete blocks on both sides with staircase in the middle to go up into the main tower. there are 2 defensive outposts on the front of the 2nd level, and 2 defense towers on west and east on first level. As you go through the main entrance of the tower, you can head through the back door which leads to the farming area which I have blocked off as well so raiders cannot enter through the back. The only way to enter through the complex is through the south entrance; there's only 1 entrance to this base. On top of the roof(s) which cover the balconies of the main corridor are 2 missile turrets on both sides, 2 machine gun turrets in the front gate, and 2 security lights. There are 3 levels to the main tower. I placed my little store bazaar outside in the farming area. You take a set of stairs up to get to it, and of course, the only way to get there is to go through the back entrance of the tower.

I'm thinking about putting Lance here.

And here i thought that i was imagining things.                                                                                                                                                            I would ask myself why does it seem to take more shots to kill a lot of things!
Glad to see i am not going completely nuts yet!

hahahahaha.
I messed around a bit and set up 16 missile turrets in one area. It's awesome when they all go off.

I got one mission to clear an area from Rhys that I can't finish. All Mutants dead but it won't finish. A patch or something downloaded when I started playing today and I got my first freeze-up trying to exit the game. I couldn't even ctrl-alt-del to open the Task Manager. I just verified the game cache and I'll see if it helped later. Piper is stuck between a mailbox and fence rail in Diamond City. Hopeless! I think I'll leave her there for a while until she figures it out by herself.

Did you get the mission issue sorted out yet?

Nope, not yet. After that patch or whatever it was yesterday I see walls where there used to be doors too. If I hadn't played before I wouldn't have known a door was supposed to be there so when I saw it I just kept walking and I passed right through it to the other side. I'll verify the game cache again and take it from there.
