MacReady is next as soon as I am finished with Preston. Survival Mode is not on my bucket list.

 
I'd try it but not now. I'll wait until I get a little higher in the leveling and pretty much done with it. But that may be a while considering that a new DLC is suppose to be released shortly.

I'm done with Preston having reached max affinity and being awarded a "United We Stand" perk whatever that is. I couldn't believe my eyes when during the conversation, in bright red letters, I had the option "Romance" staring me in the face if I hit the 'up' arrow. OMG, not happening. I just chose the 'Apologize' option and it was thankfully over. No hugs, kisses or any of that other mushy stuff.

I had to start over again due to an issue with save corruption.  No biggie, Im almost back up to where I was.  
 
Been hanging with Dogmeat a bit more than I did the first time.   Im wondering if he got a bit of a boost with the 1.3 or 1.4 patches, because he seems to be a bit meaner and tougher than I remember.   Watching him take down a Raider is pretty brutal and I was right next to him as he trashed a bunch of molerats.   Then there was the feral that he thought was a tug toy.  He had it by the leg and was dragging it around.   I think he looked a bit upset with me after I shot it.

I noticed it also. He seems to be a whole lot more aggressive now. Carry weight seems to be the same though.

Did you stop after your companions rejected you the first time? You still kept it up until they submitted. I think you are going to have sweet dreams about him. Who's tapping on your shoulder now? LOL

I've been travelling with Preston lately and got the shock of my life yesterday when during a dialogue with him the option to 'Flirt' appeared. I'm not sure what kind of perk is involved with romancing Preston Garvey but I don't think I want to go there. BTW, I returned to the Cambridge Police Station and the two 'drones' from the BOS were back handing out assigments to collect technology and clearing areas. Easy XP anyway.

 
Don't want to take a walk on the wild side???? LOL
 
I was wondering about the 2 "drones" and if they would be handing out the mission. I did the first part of the castle quest and Preston stopped giving me missions. I forgot that I had one to complete and after I did he started giving mission again. All of it is easy XP.

This is one problem, I have noticed. If you send someone out on a supply line, it's very hard to find them.

I have found Piper more than once at Finch Farm and at the drive-in but haven't seen nor heard from her recently. I just noticed that my supply line from Sanctuary to Abernathy Farm is missing meaning the Caravan was probably ambushed and the Provisioner killed. I hope it wasn't Piper. Poor Piper is either in a Super Mutant's kettle simmering for his lunch or she is fertilizer for somebody's crops. Dear sweet Piper, gone but not forgotten! I assigned Deacon to that supply line yesterday. He was loaded up with some nice weapons so he should be able to fend off any Raiders, Synths or Robots that want his goodies on the Brahmin.

I don't know if I should trust Piper or Cait to carry a Fatman...They both have a lot of energy.
