I'm running with Cogsworth now... Did Nick, Piper and Strong already. I'm reminded that some people play women characters. I suppose the game does a lot to enhance the players experience. I'll not be romancing Cogsworth... that would from the look of him be extremely uncomfortable.

There is no option to romance Codsworth. Even Bethesda has a line it won't cross.

We can only hope! I didn't spend much time with Dogmeat because he was always running around giving away my position, blowing himself up with landmines and wasting my Stimpacks to bring him back from the brink of death after attacking a giant Mirelurk. After I found Strong I put Dogmeat out to pasture.

Macready gives a nice perk at the end. Well worth it for me.
 
Survival didn't last. Was too hard for me. Being complete critical/damage specced, I sure can't take a lot of hits. I didn't try using Lance(?), though, The BOS guy as my tank. Hmmm....

MacReady is next as soon as I am finished with Preston. Survival Mode is not on my bucket list.

I've been travelling with Preston lately and got the shock of my life yesterday when during a dialogue with him the option to 'Flirt' appeared. I'm not sure what kind of perk is involved with romancing Preston Garvey but I don't think I want to go there. BTW, I returned to the Cambridge Police Station and the two 'drones' from the BOS were back handing out assigments to collect technology and clearing areas. Easy XP anyway.

I was wondering about the 2 "drones" and if they would be handing out the mission. I did the first part of the castle quest and Preston stopped giving me missions. I forgot that I had one to complete and after I did he started giving mission again. All of it is easy XP.

Dog Meat doesn't die so save your stims.
 
You can always build a robot but they do take robot stims. They do have some fire power and they carry more weight than Dog Meat.

There is an assaultron that has invisibility and some very very deadly weapons. 4 hits from that one and it's all over, including the crying. I don't remember those weapons before the update. And this is normal mode!!!!
