I don't even scrap my weapons.  I stock them all up and then barter them off for stuff that I need.  Like hard to find ammo.  Same goes with clothing/armor and other items.  I'll pack rat them up and then barter them off when the vendor restocks.

When I want a Legendary weapon only available from a vendor I tend to unload that rubbish Raider Power Armor pieces I am carrying to bring the price down. I can't believe anyone would pay for that Raider junk but business is business I guess. I also sell my almost spent Fusion Cores since a drained one with just a little bit of life left in it gets just as much as a fully charged one.

Really!!!! I didn't know that. I have some that are used and considering that I don't use power armor I may have to look into that.

I just make a legendary weapons if I don't like the ones I find.   It's not something I do very often though.  It typically requires a lot of hard to find material to create one.  On top of that, I don't often use the ones I find because I can usually mod a weapon that can do better damage that most of the legendary weapons I find.

I don't use most of the legendary weapons or armor for that matter. I just sell it most of the time.

I might have to take the duct tape of off Preston Garveys mouth.   While it's been so nice not having to hear (non-stop) about those idiotic settlers, I haven't heard about anything but Ten Pines.  I should have the drive in up and running by now as well as well as those whiners on the railroad tracks.

The drive in is a great place to build. Good location to run a supply line and you get at least 3 main vendors that stop by. More often than not there will be a main vendor there.

I know.  I had an awesome shack built around the waterhole in my first game.

My shacks are around that waterhole also, but just at a greater distance. LOL I have since cleaned it up.

I've been travelling with Preston lately and got the shock of my life yesterday when during a dialogue with him the option to 'Flirt' appeared. I'm not sure what kind of perk is involved with romancing Preston Garvey but I don't think I want to go there. BTW, I returned to the Cambridge Police Station and the two 'drones' from the BOS were back handing out assigments to collect technology and clearing areas. Easy XP anyway.

the perk for romancing any companion is the same, regardless of who they are. though only some companions have that option.

You must mean the "Lover's Embrace" after sleeping together. I must be getting close to reaching max affinity with Preston. I just hope I don't need to flirt with him to get whatever the max affinity perk is going to be.

Romancing isn't required for the companion perk, they are separate things. that said, some may keep approaching you after you reach max offering an option to romance until you directly turn them down (or accept for that matter)
