XrayManEmail Rob at   and let him know the error you are getting. (Explain in detail)

He couldn't replicate the problem, but now I'm in.

Two questions:

1)  Is the EVGA logo being illuminated by the LED?
2)  How is the LED being powered?  Since this looks to be just a plastic shroud to replace the existing enclosure, is there some power connector already there that I'm not aware of.  Currently running 2 x 980 Ti Hybrid cards in SLI, with nothing illuminated on them.

Thanks for the awesome freebie!

Two questions

Basically, underneath your 980 Ti Hybrid cooler is a run of the mill 980 Ti reference board. In fact, half of what makes up the Hybrid cooler is bits from the reference cooler itself.

On that board, you'll find this port near the power connectors of your board (circled in red).

That's the LED port, used by the reference cooler, and is controlled by nVIDIA's GeForce Experience software.

I've been debating buying the hybrid cooler for a while now. I just saw the discounted price of $79.99 (with 20$ rebate) and decided to jump on it. I probably won't have it to register til next week Thursday/Friday, and would very much like to participate in this promotion. I realize there's a chance it'll be over by then, so my question now becomes... will the new shroud eventually be sold separately?

I also jumped on that deal, and am hoping to replace the ugly 980ti shroud with this nice one.

Jacob, could you upload a photo with the LED shining? That'd be awesome! Thank you for the upgrade :)

Could anyone (EVGA or end user) please please upload some photo's or video's of this shroud installed, lit up and running! I really want to see how this card will look installed in a system. I'm trying to decide if I want to buy the evga 980 ti hybrid now that it seems to have an attractive shroud. Before this I did not like the looks of it but the update seems nice and I am ready to buy a new card now!!! (I was going to get the 980 ti matrix from asus but I don't like the orange on it, won't go with my red/black build) .

So this card is next on my list (depending on how it looks). It should be able to go into a red/black build with the white LED not clashing.

Are you Australian? Want to get in on this? Pissed off that EVGA aren't willing to let you pay for shipping to Australia?

Here's how to get around that!

First of all, register a US shipping address via AusPost's ShopMate! I apparently can't link you to it, but if you Google "auspost shopmate", it should be the first hit.

Once you get a shipping address, go to support.evga.com and edit your profile. Change both your SHIPPING ADDRESS and BILLING ADDRESS to your new Shopmate address. Also make sure to change your REGION to the US. Save it, and verify that it's switched over to the new address - you may have to add the state again after changing your details.

Visit the shroud page, and register for your shroud!

Pretty sure this is all legal and above board. I mean, I bought my hybrid kit in the US from Amazon, so I can't see why I can't register to get the shroud for it in the US - right?
