Hi,

I've EVGA GTX 980 Ti Classified on watercooling. On Precision X i put power target to max = + 141. On GTX Classified Controler i put voltage 1.45V. In game when power target attempt 106 frequencies goes down. What' up..? because p.t. is + 141...

Thanks

Way too much voltage.  Lower it to around 1.187 or so and try again.

Anyone can bring a GTX 980 TI Classfield bios with Boost disable?

Need to be the same bios as The classy oc, just without boost.

Guys, I'd like to edit the bios of my 980 Ti Hybrid, to achieve the followigìng:
Max safe voltage (I assume first slider to 1.281)
Max power limit and/or TDP (I assume 75W+75W+150W, even if my bios seems higher for 6 pins)
Keep stock boost, and stock at default values of PrecisionX, but maxed when moving the sliders...
Could someone suggest me? Thanks!

I have a hybrid bios at that voltage if you want it. I have the clocks set to match my reference model but they boost up past 1510mhz when overclocked :)

Hi,

I have been reading all the posts on here , i must say thanks for the great info and the encouragement to explore the possibilities of the 980ti .

I have taken advice from various users and have come to a point where i'm a little stuck and could do with a hand for the next bit , so far i have flashed a custom bios with an aim to raise the TDP of the card because as far as i can tell this is restricting my card boosting to higher clock speeds .  I can hit 1400 but im getting a solid green 'PWR' in GPUZ indicating a TDP limit (as i understand). And TDP only reading 80 odd %.  I think i got something wrong in the power tables .  Note im trying to achieve a decent default power at 100% but then allow me to adjust above to see the result.

Attached the screenshots, any help appreciated.

BTW its a EVGA GTX980 TI FTW

Not TDP.  Power limit.  They're different.  The settings there look ok, except....the 8 pins.  Move those down to 190 each instead of 200.

Ok cool , thanks for reply , will change the PCIe settings but how to i get round the PWR issue?  (or will that resolve)

I'm fairly certain, that if you lower the 8 pins to 190, that will bring the % to lower than 110% (where your max power target slider will go to), and that alone should help.  With 190 / 190 / 75, you're still well above the 440 watt power limit you have set in the power limit table.

Thanks tried that, I'm really struggling to get my gpu clock up, my Temps are below 80 so I don't think it's throttling for that only info I'm getting is pwr from the perfcap in gpuz.

How does the boost feature work? as it seems this isn't improving with the higher tdp cap. I have also tried uping all the voltages for each clk numbers in the voltage tables.

Has anyone had success with the ftw? Perhaps it's locked down in some way?

Any help appreciated
