That was a given? I thought that was pretty much well known? If you don't have the cooling then one should not be trying to go higher. With power or voltage beyond ones means.

Ah, you mean you got lost on the example. That was not the subject, but an example about the voltage. Sorry you misunderstood it's intent.

It's pretty good.  Pretty sure I can get more.  I just need to adjust the bios tables a tad more, lower the ambient and make another run at it.

Well....Here is the non professional overclockers version..... Take it out back or on the porch or near an open window at about 1am in the morning. Anything to test your theories to get a better perspective on it. :)

I can bring the ambient temp in this room down to between 10-12c...so until winter, that's much better.  = )

I just hope to hit 1600 before I turn these cards over to EVGA for the step up program.....and maybe some higher scores to turn in to HWBot.  lol

I've EVGA GTX 980 Ti Classified on watercooling. On Precision X i put power target to max = + 141. On GTX Classified Controler i put voltage 1.45V. In game when power target attempt 106 frequencies goes down. What' up..? because p.t. is + 141...
