Inquiring minds want to know. I have a reference SC on the way and then my step-up one. I want to put them both under water and would like matching blocks. I really hope this gets figured out soon. I don't want to sell the step-up one if I don't have to. This seems silly on the response time and lends me to think that they wont work together.

Jacob just replied back and said the changes should not interfere with Waterblock fitment.

I swear if I have to I am going get a loan and buy the damn blocks and gpus to test this!

Alright I don't know who this Jacob guy you all talk about is but he sounds pretty important at EVGA and thus given his vague "approval" I'll go ahead and order the parts, what could go wrong am i right . Will post results if on one has done so by then.

Overside ... I give you the "Man/Woman of the Thread" award for the day.. Way to put the pants on...

Oh, and Jacob aka EVGA_JacobF is one of the EVGA reps that help us out. He mostly deals with press stuff, but can usually get answers for us lowly fans as well.

Take pictures along the way. Please. Pictures explain everything.

Here I am sitting in front of this thread for a couple of days now wondering if I should grab the 4995-KR and the EK waterblock and have them fit... I was going to until Scarlet_tech created more doubt in my head with the resistor/capacitor changes...

Pleaase someone confirm for me soon before I go crazy :/
Or maybe I should just buy the Hydro copper but who knows when that's gonna become available ._.

In the the same boat as you.....please keep us updated on whether it works out for you or not

EK-FC Titan X - Acetal+Nickel

EAN: 3831109830567

The card is listed on the ekwb website as being compatible with the 980 Ti ACX though

I used the EK Titan X copper waterblock and it fit perfectly on my EVGA GTX980TI Superclock. I could not, however, use the EVGA backplate that came with it because the EK Screws were too big to fit though the EVGA backplate.
