Hi Guys,
Can we expect to see a new range of waterblocks for the new 980 TI?

OR are all current 980 waterblocks compatible with the new 980 TI?

Thanks

Since the 980ti has the same pcb layout of the Titan X, it is unlikely that there will be any 980 blocks fittings on the Ti.

On the other side, yes, ek already posted on Twitter and a few other social media sites that the Ti branded block was in the works. Since it is just engraving Ti instead of Titan X, you should see them soon.

Originally there was suppose to be a 980Ti block but since the Titan X waterblock is compatible, it will be used has the official waterblock for the 980Ti.

Just to clarify, will there be a block that's engraved with 980 ti or will Titan X be the only option?

Thanks

Ah... EK_Luc!!! I sent an email to EK via the contact us thing on the website but maybe you know the answer...

I have a reference 980 ti and an EK FC Titan X block and backplate on the way. Since there is no vram on the back of the 980ti like there is on the Titan X, will I need to buy thicker thermal pads than the ones provided to mate up with the backplate?

Titan X is the only option.  No "980Ti" engraved top.

Excellent!  Thanks.  And if I do need new stuff, the required thickness would be a great help too!

hey i've noticed that the hydro copper has a wide bridge (think that's what its called) where the inlet and outlet are  while every other EK block has a more narrow bridge. why is that?   is there any difference from the titanx block and the hydro copper block other than the evga logo on the top of the block?
