Hybrid was in stock today, but sold out. More soon.

Just got the 980ti CLASSIFIED. Need to setup water cooing as it runs hot here in Fl. Is there a backplate and watercooling solution available?

You bought the 0998 classified, which I am jot sure they sell a backplate separate for since the 3998 and 4998 both come with the backplate pre-installed.

The EKWB gtx 780 classy Waterblock fits it like a glove.

Thanks ST, Before I go searching, is there anyone wanting to sell this item? PM me as I am going to purchase this and put the CLASSIFIED ON WATER ASAP.
Thanks again ST.   (on fire in Florida)

ps - just bought a 970 FTW off EVGA B-STOCK to go with the one I have. The pair will make a nice 2nd rig for folding/crunching without the temps being an issue. Currently running 1 970 FTW at factory settings and it is 58 C - I think another will run just fine - used my EVGA BUCKS and got it cheap!

I want to soon upgrade/downsize at the same time...  to the Mini-ITX form factor. Here are the components I'm considering and the issue I face...
Asus Z170i Pro Gaming MB
i7-6700k cpu
Corsair Hydro H100i v2 water cooler
Corsair 2x8GB LPX DDR4 3200 RAM
Samsung external cd-rw
Phanteks Evolv ITX case

PROBLEM... My current 980TI EVGA card does not exhaust air out the case (# 06G-P4-4995-KR). I need a 980Ti model that does that, because this case is small and tight, and so I need to get that hot air out faster, afaik. Any easy workarounds so that I could use my current video card? Or other ideas....  I just got the 980Ti on Feb 7th..... and working perfectly...

I have a similar configuration, same case but using the EVGA 980 Ti Classified. I'm using 3 Phanteks 140mm PH-F140SP_BK case fans; one in the rear and have 2 as intakes, instead of the stock 200mm which I removed. I have no problems with heat and I'm totally air cooled!

Hi all. I have a EVGA GeForce GTX 980 Ti SC+ GAMING ACX 2.0+. I have recently found that driver version 361.75 has given me best performance overall with all games even though its an old driver.
This version of driver reduces game stutter a'lot for all my games other than Hitman.
Does anyone else found a better driver or know of a better version to give best performance overall?
Why is it that the newer drivers make the card perform so badly with stuttering unless the fps remain at the refresh rate of the screen?

The last two Nvidia drivers were causing constant crashes with my ACX 2.0 as well, so just because they might work fine for you doesn't necessarily mean they are going to work for everyone.  The crashes were not infrequent either, sometimes happening up to ten times in a single day.  Mostly from just watching videos too.  This was on a fresh install of Windows 10 also.  With the 364.72 drivers, I even ended up with a crash I had never seen before in over twenty years of PC gaming; a tan flickering screen.  I've just been using drivers from last year as well with the 980 Ti with zero issues.  With my 780 however, I haven't had any issues with the 364.51 drivers, but it's also on Windows 7.

ya, same issue here   just went hybrid  cooler and backplate  ready to go    that classy was looking nice but  I wanted to give the hybrid a try  and them bases were covered out of the box   .

so far so good   no fan or pump issues like you see reported  at times    seems I lucked out and got a works as expected card this time   [don't mean next time I fire up thing go south ]  just came to the conclusion  the pcb and clock difference  for my use was no deal breaker    and being a reference pcb type card  may help if anything pops up down the road  after warrantee is gone and sli matching will be easier  as well     and the water cooler is  as easy to  seeing most aftermarket blocks are for the reference pcb  on the easy to get side of things    and evga I hope keeps the hybrid pump standalone  kit in stock

P/N: 400-HY-0996-B1 ...  lol .. auto notify  I guess I guessed that wrong  lol......   I guess that means there sell out and will be long gone no replacement parts  lol....
