Well...replacement card shipped.  Will arrive tomorrow (4/6).  Hopes that the replacement does the trick.

Replacement is a good one...Let there be light!  Lol!  So far, looking good.  Sent the defective one back...now just have to wait to have collateral put back on my credit card.  New card ASIC is 72, where the defective one was 81.   All in all...pleased.

I'm new to SLI and I'll be running dual 980 ti hybrids on the classified 4x4... My question is, how often does Nvidia update their drivers, and when are they do... I'm asking as I've been reading a good deal about microstutter with the 980's and current drivers have been consistently mentioned as a factor in stability... Not to mention clocking, monitor type and connection... And a few solid hours of tweaking... Any suggestions?

There is no real schedule for driver releases.  Most of the time, drivers are released around the time new games come out.  There will be quite a few in the beginning of May...expect some then.  Another great forum to chat is at www.geforce.com  Go to community.  You might find some answers there.

So from that, it looks as if there is no single setting that handles EVERY game... Hence the need to tweak for each game or program and saving as a profile... Good job I like playing with the system almost as much as I like gaming... Or am I mistaken and am better off staying with a single card

We currently have the below listed rig in my 'sig. This is my family's gaming PC.

I want to soon upgrade/downsize at the same time...  to the Mini-ITX form factor. Here are the components I'm considering and the issue I face...
Asus Z170i Pro Gaming MB
i7-6700k cpu
Corsair Hydro H100i v2 water cooler
Corsair 2x8GB LPX DDR4 3200 RAM
Samsung external cd-rw
Phanteks Evolv ITX case

I will use my current samsung EVO 850 1 TB SSD, mouse, keyboard, maybe the Xonar sound (if there's an available slot), and the Corsair HX850 (if there's room)

PROBLEM... My current 980TI EVGA card does not exhaust air out the case (# 06G-P4-4995-KR). I need a 980Ti model that does that, because this case is small and tight, and so I need to get that hot air out faster, afaik.

Any easy workarounds so that I could use my current video card? Or other ideas....  I just got the 980Ti on Feb 7th..... and working perfectly...

Thanks.

Hey all.  Proud owner of a GTX 980 Ti Classified.  Wanted to know a good target temp for it?  It's currently set to 83 C.  Is that too high?

Hey all! (I apologize if this is the wrong thread)

New to the forums and to EVGA hardware. After research I dropped a bomb and got 2 980Ti Hybrids. I could not be happier with these cards, truly beautiful in design and performance! Apart from the GPU's I was absolutely floored at the technical service. I have never experienced this kind of customer care with anything I've purchased in my life. My only regret is that I did not put more of your products into my build! This is only my second rig but I can say with 100% confidence EVGA is my choice from here on out. Maybe a little regret with the pascal cards releasing but fingers crossed I make the step up deadline!

Cheers!

Hybrid was in stock today, but sold out. More soon.

Just got the 980ti CLASSIFIED. Need to setup water cooing as it runs hot here in Fl. Is there a backplate and watercooling solution available?
