Sorry guys if it has been asked before , i have tried searching the forum and couldn't find anything
 
 
i got the 980ti SC ACX 2.0 , i wanted to get a hybrid water cooler from EVGA 400-HY-0996-B1...but to my understanding since my board is not reference i cant use it!
 
has there been any alternatives or plans to make one for the non reference 980ti?? would be awesome!! especially since im trying to buy as much EVGA products as possible for my build!
 
got the x99 micro 2 today and the 1300w supernova...would like to SLI with them sometime when taxes hit !! ( yay for single dads)
 
or is there any program i can exchange my card for a reference one??? :(

I'm pretty sure you can add the AIO to your card.

Isn't the SC ACX just a reference board with the ACX cooler?

When you put the aio on you have to take the bottom of the card off...and your fans would go away...can't put them back since the aio cooler that goes over the gpu sticks up where one of the fan blades is located. You wouldn't have the reference card's squirrel fan on the other end.

When you put the aio on you have to take the bottom of the card off...and your fans would go away...can't put them back since the aio cooler that goes over the gpu sticks up where one of the fan blades is located. You wouldn't have the reference card's squirrel fan on the other end.

so i would need to buy a reference cooler and also the hybrid water one! 
 
sounds pricey! might look into the corsair alternative or the Kraken then! this sucks :(

Always thought that fan came with the HYBRID kit. Thanks for the info.

The internals from the Fan and heat plate for the reference cooler is required.. the ACX does not have a fan.  The Hybrid only comes with the AIO and a shroud, there is no fan or heatplate assembly, so there for it will not work.  (just realized I missed Gerbiao's post., whoops)

My first Evga Product and I really loved it. 980Ti ACX 2.0 SC
 
GPU +150 - RAM +500 without voltage - It's still quiet and cooling parts works really great.

See if you can get just the fan on eBay or something.
