I find it funny, the people acting like the 980ti or the titan x is the only cards getting the hybrid. Manufacturing ONE component to work on 3 different GPU's was not the original intent. EVGA released the 980 Hybrid, not the Titan X Hybrid. Customer demand for the Titan X Hybrid and shroud made them produce a set up for it. Then the 980ti came out and now 3 different cards are in demand with the same manufacturer making the pump rad combo. That is part 1.
Part 2 is the fact of the higher binned cards and the binning process to verify the cards function properly, which take time. If the +140mhz overclock that is REQUIRED to make a Hybrid isn't met, the card becomes a reference clock or SC board.
Part 3 Threatening to leave EVGA because you can't get your wishes answered only opens the door for someone else that is patient enough to wait. Edited for Jerkman :-) lol.
