Just to let you guys know, I set up auto notify for both my google and windows live emails and to my surprise windows live was 5 minutes behind in notifying me about Hybrid restock.

it dont matter the cards will be oos way before you get that alert.

What is the ETA on 980 ti classifieds? I placed an order on Amazon when it was listed but there is absolutely no information I can find on release date of these puppies. What's up?

Well the Hybrids have been out of stock on Amazon (since they were listed... IE never in stock) for almost a month. I can't imagine the Classifieds being in stock any soon than that (from when they were listed).
 
Amazon has barely been able to keep stock of any of their EVGA cards. It is kinda ridiculous.

Actually, thanks to that I was able to snag a Hybrid last week.

What's your specific set up? I'll be installing the hybrid cooling kit onto my card tonight and backplate gets delivered Friday. But if temps skyrocket 10 degrees higher even with the hybrid I'll quickly return the backplate. I've rarely heard of this happening to this extent, so I'm curious about what your set up is.

This article actually shows the Classified with a higher clock of 1152 compared to the Hybrids 1140 clock.

I can live with 12MHz and not having to deal with a custom loop...

Sucks I miss it again. I wish they would give us first dibs those that are here, but o well.
The wait continues again, just want one card, lol. I am not greedy. 

So now I have one MSI Gaming on order and one Classified on order. Hoping that they play nice together. Otherwise I will be beyond pissed.

I was told by one of EVGA operatives that the classified version for the 980 Ti will not be coming out and that the Kingpin will take its place instead. Boy was i duped and I just purchased three of the reference model instead.
