So for all the people(Like me) waiting on the 980 ti hybrid why not just by the 980 ti and buy the water cooler separately or a 3rd party cooler that's better? What's the difference if any? I don't know because I"m considering that route as idk if I'll ever get one considering they always sell out in like 5 minutes. I hope I never have to poop in the next month
Depends. Do you want a closed loop like the Hybrid or an open custom loop? The only standalone closed loop water cooler made right now is just as unavailable, so you're in for a wait either way. If you already have a custom loop, then get the Hydro Copper, but it looks like that's limited too. If you want the card now, I'm pretty sure (someone who knows for sure please correct me or back me up) your only option is the reference model, then the EVGA standalone cooler when available:
