Loving the beast that is the EVGA 980Ti SC+ ACX2.0! What a killer card.

Can someone with 2 GTX 980 Ti SLi with ACX 2.0+ cooling report on SLi performance in terms of temperature and noise. I am still contemplating if I should get 2 of these for SLi or wait for MSI gaming cards.

So for all the people(Like me) waiting on the 980 ti hybrid why not just by the 980 ti and buy the water cooler separately or a 3rd party cooler that's better? What's the difference if any? I don't know because I"m considering that route as idk if I'll ever get one considering they always sell out in like 5 minutes. I hope I never have to poop in the next month

Depends. Do you want a closed loop like the Hybrid or an open custom loop? The only standalone closed loop water cooler made right now is just as unavailable, so you're in for a wait either way. If you already have a custom loop, then get the Hydro Copper, but it looks like that's limited too. If you want the card now, I'm pretty sure (someone who knows for sure please correct me or back me up) your only option is the reference model, then the EVGA standalone cooler when available:

The biggest thing to consider: The Hybrid card is clearly better binned to the tune of the Classified and Hydro Copper version, whereas you'll be playing the silicone lottery at your own risk should you buy the reference or SC (with reference cooler) version and add the Hybrid yourself later on. Decisions, decisions...

That's best option, better to wait cooler than hardware.
GTX980Ti can work and wit reference cooler few days.
It's weird how GeForce reference cooler after 2 years is still attractive, they could keep him one year more free.

Well I just ordered 2x Hybrids from my local Australian seller 'Scorptec'. They said they have an ETA of 1st-7th July for their Hybrids stock. I hope they are accurate and not bull ****ting just to get orders.

Well anyways they said they will refund if they cannot get it by the time they ETA it.

He means you can buy the hybrid cooler seperatly and fit it yourself to a reference GTX 980 Ti to turn it into the Hybrid version. But the standalone cooler itself, is just as scarce as the actual Hybrid GTX 980 Ti.

Just received a new Digital Storm custom system with a GTX 980 Ti. No clue what model it is, other than eVGA :) Also not sure how to retrieve the serial number without laying this beat of a full tower on its side. So far liking what I'm seeing, 14207 3DMark FireStrike score, not even sure if that's good or not, but I'm more about seeing results than numbers.
