Just got my 980 TI SC today.
 
This new ACX 2.0+ "dead" fan is a scary thing. fan is on auto on EVGA Precision, but the idle its 60c.... uhhh this is way too hot, should i leave it on auto and let it do its job or bump it up to a fixed setting?

Use EVGA precision X16 for a fan curve. Set the fan curve for aggressive. That what I did.
 
I just receive my EVGA GTX980 Ti SC + ACX 2.0 cooler
Core clock : 1401 MHz
Memory : 7200 MHz
work like a charm on every game.
 

My graphics card is having this problem. = (
When this happens I have to take the pci express slot and colocala again several times to work. Already tested on another computer and the problem continues.

That is a very strange problem. What is the GPU temperature and load when it does this?
But really you are in the wrong thread, this one is about the 980Ti.

What is the problem about your shop? I want add 2 980 Ti on my cart but I can't.

They were, I wanted the backplate version, I didn't have the "plus" button. But it's too late now, I wait the next availability.

Guys, more 2 day and amd release the fury x,almost a month and evga cards are not found on the market, i order 2 hydro 980ti full price in europe but i think change idea because  is no longer available.

well well, what's this?  

What's that?  Easy.  It's a terrible solution that provides zero cooling to the VRMs, VRAM, or MOSFETS.  No thanks.  If you really want the best solution, liquid cool the entire card using a waterblock.
