I know that the new 980 ti cards are hot, but this auto-notify system just doesn't work. I was finally able to get the 980 Ti hybrid into my shopping cart and was about to pay when the whole system just went down. I lost my cart item and now I'm sure I will have to "Auto-Notify" again. Why doesnt EVGA institute some type of queue so that customers can get in line, so to speak and have an item reserved for them?

Or have the item reserved and when it comes in they can just ship it out to paying customers?

Either way they need to fix this horrible system.

That's what I said, I understand supply and demand, but for that reason alone, there should be a 1 per household limit at the start of all of this just to be fair to everyone instead of just collecting $$$. On top of that, by the time you make it to the final form for ordering, the stock should be locked to you for at least a frickin' minute while you review and hit submit. Dat feel of thinking you got one, only to hit place order, then get rejected with not in stock? I'd rather be kicked in the balls.

Exactly. And it's even more maddening thinking that some yahoo is buying them up just to resale on Amazon for double the price .

yea i agree with the 1 per customer and the time limit you have when you placed it into your cart. as lame as this may sound i added a 960 in cart and made a couple of mock runs to get it down path so i can be fast as possible lol.

hey now don't hate on capitalism. hate on EVGA for not enforcing a limit like someone else said  1 per address/credit card. it would reduce the number of cards flippers are getting their hands on

Obviously I'm all for this here capitalism thing. Just saying that yes, like you suggested, EVGA needs to either limit the quantities or institute a different system as I suggested above.
