Since the led does not light up with my 970's I opened up the bridge and applied 5v volts from a molex connector to the wires for the led and got it to work. My question is what is the voltage for the led coming off the cards that do support the led ? Would anyone be so brave as to check for me?  I tried both 12v and 5v, both worked and I stuck with the lower, just curious as to what is the actual voltage. Thanks

i have a x99 classified, and cards in Slot 1 and Slot 3
i bought the http://www.evga.com/Products/Product.aspx?pn=100-2W-0023-LR - 60mm
But when i put it on it is shor from connecting the bottom card.
Do i need to buy the http://www.evga.com/Products/Product.aspx?pn=100-3W-0032-LR - 80mm 2/3way SLI? (seems like this would be too long)

from looking at your board, the one you got should work, did you check your cards  brackets are installed right? try loosing them up and installing the bridge,

edit: or is your second card in slot 4? because slots 1 and 3 should be 60mm apart on the x99 classy

Call EVGA and explain that they did not come in the box with the bridge. They will send to you. There suppose to come in the box.

That is some good information, thank you for sharing.

i got two of them and there was nothing in the boxes but the bridges,,,

would like to hear something from evga on this???

I used flash film to change mine, and I actually wish I could get it more vibrant than it is.

I wish they would pass out an Orange color block.. Or, any of the ones they advertise... That would be nice.

i plan to paint the outer cover on one of them tomorrow / white , and use the red film like i did on the older ones (they were ok but not to bright), i had to do 4 layers to get the right color, but from what i have seen of the new ones with the side lighting the effect should be much better than the back lighting on the old ones, although they also look pretty good:

they are a much deeper red than the pic shows
but the lighting is not , even across the logo

Well played i was testing this thread...I kid, i had forgot i put it in Slot 4 as i have a 5820k and Slot 3 is disabled.

So now i am ordering a 5960X so that i can use slot 3 so i can use the SLI bridge. Do you think that it is worth it to get the chip from http://siliconlottery.com/products/5960x47g

i know little on that board but i think the 4 slot is best (x16) compared to 3 slot (x8) but depends on the cpu on what lanes you have, the 5960 is a bad boy but you may be better with the 5930, depends on what you do .
I would just keep it in slot 4  ( that WOULD require the 100-3W-0032-LR ) 80mm

I finally got the 3 black pieces of plastic with the word EVGA in red, green and blue. They are stickers! If you place them on the outside of the bridge they don't really light up that good. So I don't really know how they are suppose to work.

I think you wrong. EVGA says there suppose to be included with the SLI PRO Bridge V2. So you can change the color of the lite up EVGA part of the bridge to Red, Blue or Green.

Plus think about it. Why would they send these different color stickers to put on the bridge if you cannot see the color!!
