Hello everyone,

I'm a scrub and can't tell if I would need a 3 way or 2 way long. I have a Z97X-Gaming 7 mobo by Gigabyte.

I have a 980 ACX SC in the top x16 slot and another in the x8 slot.

Thanks in advance!

This is your Motherboard>? http://www.gigabyte.com/products/product-page.aspx?pid=4959#ov

Wow! that MB only has ONE X16, from what I can tell you will need the 60mm or Long one.

bcav, since you seem to be a research pro, maybe you can help
i have these two gigabyte boards http://www.gigabyte.com/products/product-page.aspx?pid=4720#ov and http://www.gigabyte.com/products/product-page.aspx?pid=3759#ov
im currently using the second one with a 2600k
best i can tell i will need the 2-way long for either board, correct?
one thing i have a question about is the first one only lists crossfire as supported, does that mean i cant use it for sli?
and would it be worth it to upgrade to a 3770k to unlock pci-e 3.0 on the first one?
thanks in advance

also, where did you get that nice little diagram of the motherboard?
