Back in stock at EVGA US store.

How about at amazon?  I ordered on the 19th and now they're saying 2 months!

With that you will have to wait for Amazon to get them in Stock, I would be the same if your ordered one from NewEgg.
Back in stock was at the EVGA Store here on EVGA's Web Site that is.

Except newegg got them in stock on Wednesday.  

What does NewEgg stock have to do with Amazon stock?
Nothing as the same as Amazon stock has nothing to do with NewEgg Stock.
 
You can cancel your order with Amazon and order one from NewEgg. But Egg is now out of stock so keep you Amazon order open.
Remember that your are not charged on Amazon until your order ships and NewEgg charges before your item ships.

It means that stock is flowing.  Regardless, I got my delivery estimate from Amazon, expected Wednesday.

Maybe I missed it while reading through the forums, and having mounted these on your X, do you know if a Titan X back plate still work with the kit?  The 980 Hybrid comes with a back plate and it looks like the mount points match up between the two plates.

Sorry for the late reply. There is no backplate included in the 980 hybrid kit. My Titans have no backplates on them.

It's being reported all over, in every review that it has a backplate.

The upgrade kit doesn't come with a backplate only a custom shroud.

This natural card boxes with separate Hybrid cooler are cool to me. 
 

OMG, this card is EPIC! it does everything i thought it would but better. the temps are just mind boggling! my 780ti w\ ACX Cooler would idle around 40-43C and now that is the temp of the 980 Hybrid under FULL LOAD! it just amazes me how cool this thing runs. stock performance isn't much over the 780ti but i expected that, now lets see the overclocking capabilities! ^_^

And their temps are much lower probably.
