I'm happy to announce I successfully installed a 980 AIO on a Titan X. <snip>

Awesome! I'm definitely going this route now, thanks for the info.

<whine>You know what would be more awesome? If I could actually BUY a couple from EVGA!</whine>. Such is the frustrating reality of wanting the newest stuff I suppose.

bcavnaugh did you get a chance to run 3DMark on your GTX 980 Hybrid?

All Stock Clocks CPU and GPU.
Scores Fire Strike 11819 Funny that 3dMark shows this GPU as "Graphics card is not recognized"
Idle Temperatures 25C MAX
AIDA64 GPU Burn-Stress 37C Base Line for Stock Fan and Settings.

Fire Strike 1.1 - Stock

I got the same message saying "Graphics card is not recognized" basically they don't have this card in their system yet because its new hardware.

I'm happy to announce I successfully installed a 980 AIO on a Titan X. I have a 3rd Titan X coming in the next day or two and 3 AIO units in total. I will post pics and benchmarks then.

I did a simple benchmark test with Heaven 1.0. I have both cards overclocked to about 1400mhz with max power target, temp target, overvolt, ect.

My normal Titan X I ran the GPU fan at a static 100% which is around 4,800RPM (LOUD)
My AIO Titan X I ran the GPU fan at a static 20% which is around 1,000RPM (quiet)
I'm using a Corsair SP120 quiet edition running at a static 700RPM for the AIO radiator (quiet)

My AIO Titan X runs 20C+ cooler and obviously 10x quieter than the other Titan X running. I'm sure the difference would be 30C+ if both fans were running the same speed. More to come in a few days.

Push it even higher! I want to see how high that thing can go... I am betting 1500+ MHz, though that may require a custom BIOS as others with custom loop systems have done. Also, what's your ASIC reading? I just placed an order for two on Amazon... hopefully they come in stock soon!

Odd that this is a standard GTX 980 so why is 3dMark showing "Graphic card is not recognized" or better a Generic VGA
9.18.13.4788 my driver but today Windows 10 forced a driver update to 349.90. Windows 10 for me is a big  Sorry RJ.

I had to upgrade my driver to the GeForce 350.05 (9.18.13.5005) Hotfix driver, due to my Battlefield Hardline crashing with Direct X.

Try going to Nvidia control panel

Select "Manage 3D Settings"

Click on Global Settings, then scroll down to "Power Management Mode" and change it from adaptive to "Prefer Maximum Performace"

Run 3DMark and see if that helps with your score!

Nice!

Are you seeing any significant temp differences when running push/pull config on the GTX 980 Hybrid?

See Post The AIO Hybrid for that info so that I do not have to post in two locations or threads.
