Name is Rukagaku, I have been playing on the EVGA BFBC2 server and hanging out in Mumble, been playing MMO's for better part of 10 years but burned out so trying to play some FPS and getting a little better.

Hey everyone, I installed BFBC2 the other day off Steam.  I haven't played a ton of FPS games, so I'm a bit of a n00b.  I've played some LFD2, COD:WAW, and COD:MW2... but not a ton.  I get killed A LOT.

I've played a bit of the single player BFBC2 to get used to the gameplay and I started playing a bit online.  I'm still level 1 and I'm still getting killed A LOT.

I love playing sniper/recon, but I've found that the bullet drop on BFBC2 makes long distance shots extremely difficult - annoyingly so in fact.

My name ingame is the same as here on the forums: MNParadox.  I'll put up the =EGC= tag to support the EVGA community, but I'm not going to be a high kill/death player for some time.  Just warning ya!

LOL (probably just coincidental and not correlated whatsoever) but I just noticed that after I joined the EGC (aka added =ECG= to my tag) my K/D ratio shot up in MW2 (another other FPS games, but MW2 in particular). I'm getting like 4:1 easily now; used to be 2.5:1...LOL go EVGA!

thiers alot of us that are new to the game me included just have fun and take your time more you practice the better you get
 
and no mumble is not required but is half the fun come check us out you dont even have to talk  but i bet you laugh
