I figured out a method to make this work. While you have UXFTool still open and your skin imported, copy an edited BMP into the directory for that file before exporting again. 
 
Here is a little edit I did to add a couple of well known characters to your skin. More to come if anybody wants...

I keep getting an error related to the skin tool, when using either a password or no password at all!
 

Trying to get a skin for a Geforce GTX 650 1GB GPU

shadow, there is no password on the ClassifiedX.uxf file. The file I have is dated 9/25/2015, 3828KB. If you want, I can email my copy of that file to you. Just PM me with your email address.
 
Tip, make sure there isn't a ClassifiedX.tmp file or folder before import. Delete or rename them.

Imgur resampled this as a PNG, so you will need to make it a BMP file 787 x 545 dimensions and name it SkinBase.BMP. 
 
Remember, Import ClassifiedX, copy your new SkinBase.BMP into the ClassifiedX folder, in software fill in new [Info] / [Name] and [apply], then export with NEW file name.

this is stupidly hard to do. make it simpler for those of us are are mentally challenged at this. i have a 750 ti sc and looking for some new skins. i dont understand all this save and rename bs. seems like such a over waste of time , just simplify it.
 

 
Question - will old skins work on Precision X / Precision X OC? I have an old skin "Kingpin Cooling - Tek 9" that I have always liked, and use it on Precision v.4.2.1, wondering if it will work with the new Precision versions.  *edit* ...I just realized that the old Precision GPU clock dial only goes up to 1500MHz, the newer Precision X goes up to 2000MHz, and Precision X OC goes up to 2500MHz, so I'm guessing that might be a problem, lol. 
 
 
 

 
Does the skin tool work for Precision X / Precision X OC? Anyone have a base for Precision X / Precision X OC (since max clock is different)?
 
 
 

Well this took me wayy to long but yeah:

I recreated the graph axis as the default one is poorly aligned and inaccurate.

6.0.6 version seems work without issues on 6.0.7 (button still shows shadowplay not share)

What is the name of the exe? I cannot find anything skin related :P
