Now the question is, when are we going to get those backplates to buy them. I am on your website for more than 12 hours since the last 2 months and I cannot buy the SC ACX 2.0 backplate as are never available.
 
And yes, I did subscribe to the auto-notification... I want to buy 2 of them. An estimate of availability would be nice (I live in Canada and checked everywhere... nowhere to be found).

If anyone has an "FTW" backplate that turns out to be for the SC I'll gladly take it.

I have to apologize, there was an issue with the backplates and the normal ones and FTW ones got mixed up. The way it is listed now in the EU store is the right way. The Backplate and all holes should fit, if the holes specially between the 4 spring screws and the power connectors do not fit you have probably received a wrong backplate. Please contact customer support at supporteu@evga.com or +49 89 / 189 049 11 for further assistance to get you the right model.

Although, if you had some insight as to when I could expect to see the standard 980 backplate back in stock on the EU store, that would be great!

I would be interested in the US store as well. The image of the backplate still appears incorrect:

I see the webstore is showing in stock for 980 regular backplates but I have a trial on Amazon prime and was wondering when the Amazon store will reflect new stock.

Not anymore... I waited until I reached home to buy it and its no more available. Seriously?! What they had 10 pcs on stock?!

Hope that was just a stock correction for the ones that were mixed up as FTW...
