Did not know they did more than one Official 2014 Folding Time Zone Challenge?
Is this one part of EVGA 2014 Time Zone Challenge?

The one you linked, which was done earlier in the year, probably should not have been called "official". I put it together as a different contest, using the TZC layout. The one now is the proper and classic style, ran by troy8d rather than myself. I know that is adding to the confusion, but that is my fault for doing a different TZC and using the same name earlier in the year. I will make sure to name it something else for 2015.
 
If you need further clarification, please let me know and I will try to explain better. I am sorry for the confusion.

I will pass on this one due to poor support for NVIDIA Graphics Cards and Projects.
 
I will only have to AMD Cards Folding for the Challenge, Maybe I will see if my 4P can still run BigAdv and my GTX 780 Rig.

That is correct. As the classic TZC, it is ONLY for folding, without crunching included.

And from the OP "and it is a race to specific point value, and not based on duration".  So it really depends on how many total points is set as the final goal.

I'm glad to see that we are having a contest. This will be good for Team EVGA!  BTW, I hope you change your mind Bcav.
The timing may give people time to clean and ready their equipment for the challenge. That is after waking from your Thanksgiving feast.

Well, I may be out for this. I had hoped to have my new X99 system up and running. But now I'm down and out because my board wouldn't even power on. I'm ready to pay for my cross RMA, but it still won't ship until Monday. And it'll still take until Thursday or Friday to get to Kansas City from Brea Ca. by UPS ground.
