So i've been ogling the new 980's because of their nice power to performance ratio and in turn the acx 2.0 variant as I'm a fan of good fans :]
One thing that strikes me as odd when looking at the pictures is that the fins on the heatsink are now across the width of the card, which would mean the card dumps its heat against the motherboard and the case cover ?
Can anyone confirm this for me ? I have a partial liquid cooled rig and I need my warm graphics card air to be moved *out* of the case and not spread around on the inside. It would also be blowing against Plexiglas as well which is a poor heat conductor.
