I KNEW the EK-FC780 Classy would probably Work on the EVGA GTX 980 Classified!
 
So Much for having to Buy New Hundred $+ FC water blocks again!

Are those the only two holes that line up?

Also can you post what Temps you're getting?

I have looked at mine and Those two (outlined in Red) and another one are the only ones I see, But the Block Will Work!

OH man .. this is awesome news about the Blocks.
What about the memory contacts on the block though? 780/780Ti 3gb vs 4GB on 980 Classy,
do they line up?

the block does not fit 100% .
I found some problems and the board bending but can be used.
be careful

hey guys any update on the blocks fitting the 980 classy, i have 2 blocks sitting here waiting to be fitted but before undoing everything a confirmation on block would be awesome, also i have evga 780 classy backplate will this also fit ?im guessing yes if the block fits lol :)

just wandering if there any certain change we need to be aware of when swapping blocks,  for ex , new length screws, or washers we need? or do they just fit as is ?
