That's HW modding... I want to know if i can play with a software adjustment, without voiding my warranty.
I was just showing you that if the safest voltage is considered to be between 1.5 - 1.6Vcore using LN2 cooling, Then the safest voltage on air or water cooling is IMO probably going to be like my EVGA GTX 780Ti Classified Kingpin Editions with a modded Bios from Skyn3t that I didn't go over 1.35Vcore using my EVBot controller or the Classy voltage tool from Overclock.net.
If you want a modded Bios for the EVGA GTX 980 Classified, you can find all the necessary Tools at Kingpincooling.com (Link shown below), But as EVGA has stated, Even though they say you may use 3rd party Bios's, You do so at your own risk of Voiding your warranty if something goes wrong and damages the Card.
Once again I will say it is Your Choice on what you want to do with software adjustments......
