You were right guys thanks for pointing that out. I am going to order 4 x 50mm Extensions 
http://www.frozencpu.com/products/22275/ex-tub-2489/Bitspower_G14_Male_to_Female_Extender_-_50mm_-_White_BP-DWWP-C65.html?tl=g30c101s1354 and then stack my connectors on the top of that. It looks like 100 mm (50x 2)to the top of the cards should clear it.

Darn I had a similair build as your kbeaumont, Was going to use monsoon hardline 3/4, let us know how those extenders work. Might have to steal that idea, wish it was straighter and not the rugged texture.
