In any case here is the test fit:
It fits like a charm. I didn't bother hogging out the interior because I knew it would fit just fine, since the outside fits just fine. It took around 45 minutes to machine this single part's exterior without even the interior... and thats also without hogging away excess materials since I used a thicker slab of scrap then what the project calls for, and all the material that has to be removed.
Nothing too difficult about this at all, just time consuming. I will be ordering the materials today and 'HOPEFULLY' get to work on some this weekend - that is if I can finish the tool plate. Drill and tapping ALL THOSE HOLES will take a long time if my tapping bit acts up on me.
