I am a bit confused, isnt the ek blocks and the hydros the same with just a bit of cosmetic modification? Is it really that much bigger than a normal ek? If so, those that use the classy gpus are going to be pretty restricted because hydro is pretty much the only full cover block.

Most of the Hydrocopper blocks are MUCH thicker then conventional blocks.  I thought mine were thick at 1/2" from the PCB, but hydrocoppers are not compatible at all.  They are too thick and it won't allow the inlets between PCI-E connectors.  Thinner GPU blocks will allow tubing to go through.  If you want, measure the distance between the backplate of the second card and the front face of your GPU block and you will find out how much room there is.  If you can fit thinner hose, then thats always a possibility (perhaps 3/8 tubing).

Is this the older swiftech hydros or the newer ek hydros? The newer ek hydro looks thinner than a single slot. Either way ill find a solution.

Ek started making the WBs which are thinner for the new 900 series.  Everything else prior to that were from Swiftech (Thicker).

Look like enough room to me. Three 980's with EK blocks and back plates.

I just finished drafting up the fixture plate for the Classy version.  I will be cutting it this week.
I think I have the whole first batch spoken for.  PM's will be going out.  I will need e-mail addresses so reach out to me if your interested.

PM's went out to the classy folks.  The only e-mail address's I need are Sam Nelson & Boxlid's
I have Su11Ybear & jsman99 for Micro's and Zophar for a FTW.

Since 4 blocks consist for the entire X99 series, I plan to use the same fixture plate, but on the backside.  That should cut down on the fixture plate design of the FTW/Micro considerably.
