That was why I sent the picture, so he could reference the backplate from EVGA compared to what he wants to use. As I do not have any other backplates to try, I would not be able to appropriately. Answer the question. I can say, for a fact that I have less issues getting RAM out of the RVE compared to the Micro.

I kinda feel evga messed up on the first version of x99 classy, especially the double latch ram and m.2 slots and a few other things.... come on evga give us a revision lol.

Which blocks should I start first?  Classy, FTW, or micro?

Im up and running right now. So Im in no rush for the blocks on my FTW. So classy or micro get my vote for those in higher need. My blocks wont be going on until I tear the loop down to either change GPU's or perform maintenance.

How about this instead, sound off with which blocks you want.

Count me in on the Classified, both blocks.  If my two 780 hydro coppers have clearance issues, I'll just upgrade my cards and get third party blocks for them.

Micro with no rush
Using tube right now, going to try rigid acrylic in the new year with the new blocks :)

You know i need the classy set.

Put me down for the classy set. Very nice workmanship Z97 Stinger blocks.
