Yes, you need to buy Additional Power Supply Cable Set, made for 1600W models with more VGA connectors for more graphic cards. Cost 30$ and you get ...
  • 2 x 6+2pin PCI-E VGA Cables
  • 1 x 6+2pin + 6pin PCI-E VGA Cables
  • 1 x 3 Molex Cable
All colors are available

Hey yall.  I am just wondering what the length of these cables are.  Like I am currently building a comp and having to buy parts here and there over the next 2 months.  I am using a Thor-v2 W case (full ATX case) and the motherboard is a asus sabertooth z97 mark s (limited edition).

The motherboard has a 8 pin power connection that will end up at the very top of the case and the power supply is of course mounted on the bottom.  The case dim are 22.84" x 9.14" x 20.08" and of course cable management will lower the cable a bit as well.

I can't seem to find any official information from EVGA on the wiring gauge used in these cable sets.  There's a post by VSG on LinusTechTips where he states that he THINKS most of the wires are 16-AWG with a few 18-AWG sprinkled in, like on the daisy-chained PCI-E connectors and on the non crucial leads on the 24-pin connector.  I'd really like to hear about this from someone at EVGA.  I've got myself a brand new 1600 P2 that I'm wanting sleeved cables for and if the EVGA set is as described by VSG, I'll gladly buy them.  If not, I guess I'll pick up a set from CableMod.

They are 16awg through out and signal wires are 18awg. The signal I am referring to is the green wire to tell the psu that the motherboard is working. There are a few other small 18awg wires, but not many. The sleeved kits are actually really nice.

That's great to hear, I think I'll go ahead and pull the trigger then.  Thanks for the input, Scarlet-Tech!

Vsg deserves more credit. We get some amazing reviews out of him :-)

I think this has been asked before but here it goes.
I just bought an EVGA 850 G *not G2*, I am wondering if the cable kits marked as G2 etc will be a direct replacement?
Thanks for your time!
