Silly question, and I apologize if it has been answered before. I was checking out the "Details" page on this card, and saw these listed under Interface, "PCI-E 3.0 16x DVI-I, DVI-D, HDMI". These were the only ones listed on sites like Amazon and Newegg as well. However, in the images I can clearly see displayport on the card. The regular 780 also has displayport, so I was just wondering if this was a mistake, or if it really doesn't have displayport. Thanks.

Yes it has the DP. its worth getting and its graphics it produces are fantastic.

Can I assume it's a total waste to step up for 1200p gaming? It's not much in the cost category but if it's not worth it I'll just be happy with my EVGA GeForce GTX 780 SC w/ ACX Cooler.

I got a 280GTX and got this email about a trade-up, only to get the message "Sign ups are closed."

Has EVGA now collected enough spare parts to repair older 280GTX cards?

Sign up was available to have your name on the list, to receive the notification for the 6gb card as soon as it was released for step-up. To start the Step-up process, go to my products, click on view details, and you will see the area where you can start the process.

Depending on what card you currently have, if you did not register your card within 14 days after purchase, then you will need to purchase extended warranty for Step-up to be available for you. If you did register it within 14 days, you should be able to step-up (As long as you are still in the 90 day window to Step-up).

Are you meaning trade-up as in the step up program?  If so, where did you find a brand new EVGA 280 in the last 90 days?

Somewhat off topic but this old GTX 285 is finally on it's death bed. Almost six years old and it's dying on me. It runs between 60c and 70c idle and nears 100c while gaming. Crashes are abundant as well and no amount of thermal paste reapplication will help it anymore.

That being said I've been putting off upgrading for a lot longer than I should have and now find myself at a crossroads. Originally I was planning to pick up a single 780 3gb as I am not a fan of SLI configurations but wasn't sure if it's 3gb of VRAM would be up to the task of a heavily modded Skyrim (Texture mods, ENBs, over 100 others, etc.) While the 780 might be slightly less powerful than the ti it is more than enough for me.

While I currently only game on a single 1080p monitor I had plans for eventually moving on to a second at the very least soon. Those things being said, which way should I go? The new 6gb version now that it's available or the original 3gb? Perhaps something else altogether?

Edit: Turns out I can't post links?

Anyway, I am wondering if someone from EVGA can verify which EVGA 780 backplate is right for a 6GB GTX 780 w/ ACX cooler?

I am thinking it's the one with the models 3783/3784 from the store, but the 6GB version has a different model number (3787 for the SC version).
