Does anyone know when the 6gb 780s will be available?

Nope. When Evga is ready, they will announce it.

Oh...how about now?

Can someone help me please I'm confused (easily done)

I brought an EVGA GTX 780 SC ACX from Scan Computers on 26/03/14.

I registered this on EVGA website and signed up for the step up notification on 08/04/14.

Does this mean I'm eligible?

Are there any quicker turn around options if I am, i.e can I put a credit card as security and be sent the new GPU whilst mine is in the post back to EVGA?

Thanks everyone and sorry for not understanding!

No trolling, just impatience :P
Been years since I updated my card and the 6gb would be a huge upgrade for my 3D work.

Oh ok. Seemed like it at the time. LOL. No worries.        =)

BTW, I'm waiting for a 6GB card too.      ;)

Why is step-up STILL not offered to AU? It's not like we're living in the early 2000's anymore, plenty of companies offer direct sales here so why hasn't EVGA caught up.

I have a 780 classy.  Had to RMA the first card (whine and rattle) but this one is sweet.

I run / game a single 1440p monitor.  Is the step-up to 780 6GB a wise thing to do?  I assume the clock is lower; will performance be better or worse?

EDIT:  can you even step-up a classy to a stock 780??

single 780 3gb classy to single 780 6gb will be a step backward in performance.
you will gain absolutely nothing from that extra 3gb at 1440p.

again.  unless you are running at least three 780 and running beyond 1440p.  6gb is simply bragging rights.

I have two GeForce GTX 780 Dual Classified 3GB that I bought in the beginning of March.

I was wondering if there will be a step-up for these cards to a 6GB 780 ACX version for Canada, within my 90 day window? I already signed up for the normal 780 6GB card announcement at

I saw the release here about a 780 ACX card:

Needing more VRAM for my modded Skyrim@2560x1600, it's pinning my 3GB easily and the swaps are jarring. Titan (Blacks) are way overpriced for the extra 3GB I'm getting with this new card.

Thanks and that's good to know as I really can't be bothered changing cards again
