The entitlement in this thread...dayum. Haha. This is a nice program EVGA has put together - if you can take advantage of it - great - if not, no worries - just use eBay or something and dump your card and buy another one. You'll still likely pay very little. Nevermind that the move from 3GB to 6GB on GTX 780 will barely do anything for most users. You'd be better served going to a Ti or waiting until Maxwell, really.

Would only help me because of 2d surround.  I plan on getting a Maxwell GPU when they come out so really I don't care to much because we all know in a year after that there will be new stuff out

Haha, I could not agree more. You would think after so long everyone would learn. Technology is always moving forward and it is hard to keep up, if you always want the best be prepared to PAY FOR IT! I am sure a few months after these 6GB card are released something better will pop up and everyone will be kicking themselves for not waiting. You know what happens if you keep waiting? You're stuck with an ancient card because something better is always around the corner.

If you want to have the best hardware you are gonna need deep pockets or a horrible sense of money management. Just please stop whining every time something new comes out, that is just the way it works.

A couple of questions.  Will there be a version we can step up to that has a dual bios?  I have the 780 FTW and I mainly bought it for the dual BIOS.  Secondly, I signed up to be notified with 2 days left in my step-up window.  Once the step-up becomes available, how many days do I have to decide if I want to go through with the step-up?

Also, before you had updated your post, I had emailed support about the 90-day window and got this as a response:

"Hi,
Unfortunately the program has the strict 90 day window. The announcement was made to let people know that it is coming and if they are within the proper window they have the change to step up to it. After the 90 days from purchase however that option is no longer available. I do apologize for any confusion about the program.
Regards,
EVGA"

So which one is true?  Is the support staff not yet privy to the exception?

We made a change to the program to allow step up for anyone within 90 days.

No plans for dual BIOS version at this time.

I really wish the step up program was longer than the 90 day window.  I've got two GTX 580's I'd love to trade in.  Even if there was a slight fee to do so, I'd pay for you guys to extend the step-up program.

That is not fair deal for EVGA, but would be fair for all side if customer of GTX780Ti 3GB Classified can step-up on GTX780Ti 6GB Classified and
K|NGP|N owners to have option to step up on both if they want GTX780Ti 6GB Classified or GTX780Ti 6GB K|NGP|N Classified.
I mean how someone bought 200$ cheaper version of GTX780Ti and than step-up on more memory and much advanced PCB.
