Added a 12" bitfenix fan splitter braided cable.  The backplate helped with the installation.  First thing I tied down was the supplementary power cable and the bitfenix fan splitter.  Used a 1"x1" inch sticky back connector to hold down the tie strap.  The Audio cable is so well hidden it runs underneath the MB and underneath the EVGA Z87 shield.  Used locking pliers from my tackle box to work in some of the tight places.  Would recommend replacing any cable you can with braided cables.  I was very pleased to tuck the USB 3.0 motherboard header between the GPU and MB.  To do this I took the battery out (pay attention to which is + when you replace battery as I forgot and had to look at pictures online).  I kinked the cable a bit to with pliers to train it to bend back.  To hide the USB 3.0 you attach the USB 3.0 header to the mother and than slowly attach the GPU to the MB and it will fit.

First post here, just finished my Hadron Air!

I spent about 4 hours getting the cables all fixed up, had to cut a bunch down since I decided to use custom white sleeved extensions.

Rig Setup:
  • Core i5-4670k @ 4.2GHz
  • GTX 760 HAWK @1350MHz
  • 8GB ADATA XPG V2.0 @ 1600 CAS9
  • 128GB Samsung 840 Pro
  • 1TB Seagate HDD
  • 160GB Seagate HDD
  • Panasonic Slot-load DVD/CD writer/reader
  • EVGA Mini-ITX cooler
  • Gigabyte Z87N-Wifi board
  • Custom White Sleeved Cabling
And I have my fans setup currently as intakes, because the Cougar's I bought are too thick, and the 24-pin connector rubs the blades when flipped the other way lol Just ordered some Gelid Slims and will see what kind of temps I get. I've been pretty lucky so far with the power supply, it's been pretty dang quiet - at least during idle/general computing lol it gets pretty dang loud at load, but I'm gaming with headphones so I can't hear it :)

@mike a - I love what you did with that intake fan, I already ordered one to try that myself.  It may not be much, but anything helps in a mini-itx build.

I like how Jacob put metal badge on Hydro series pump.
I keep two EVGA case badges, one for D5 X-Top one for something else.
