I just bought an EVGA GTX 760 SC ACX (02G-P4-2765-KR) and as soon as I turned my computer on I was like... "what's that noise?" My old EVGA GTX 660 vanilla is way quieter at idle. My 760 is idling at 23ºC... what's the point of 43% minimum fan speed? why did you create such a fantastic cooling solution and then proceeded to cripple its acoustic performance by setting such a high minimum RPM level for the fan? This card needs a BIOS for <43% fan speed. The heatsink itself performs really well which makes such a noisy fan profile even more pointless.
Edit: I've found out that at 45% speed the fan sounds better than at 43% (less humming). It's a significant improvement, but it would be even better if we could set it at 31-42%, specially since Dual BIOS owners can do it.
Edit2: After more testing I've determined that at 43%, 44%, 52% and 53% the fan sounds "bad" and at 54% and 55% it sounds absolutely TERRIBLE, over 55% the fan is loud enough to somewhat cover the humming. The sweet spot in terms of noise seems to be at 45% at idle; with load you need to make a custom curve and avoid at least 54% and 55% at all costs.
