So I got my 2-way SLI bridge installed with my 780's today and the bridge looks great installed, but.....

The LED's just dont look right when the system is powered up. When I have the LED illumination turned up I can see 2 bright LED's but the EVGA Logo doesn't really light up that well. Almost like there's an LED missing in the middle.

Then, if I want to turn the LED's off and have them set to 0 in the LED controller, the LED's never fully turn off. They are dimmed, but still visible.

Is this normal?

It should be pretty clear and light up pretty well. When I shut down it dims then shuts off completely where you can't see anything (didn't do the shutdown part on the vid; just the light up)

I made a quick vid to help you out: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a8BvsTW9UiU&feature=youtu.be

Hope that helps!

Thanks for the reply. Mine looks nothing like that. Yours looks really clear and well illuminated.

Mine basically looks just like two brightly illuminated individual LED's. Not to mention they can't be turned off. Only dimmed.

Guess I'll be requesting a replacement.

Can you turn your LED'S off completely using Geforce Experience or the EVGA LED Controller?

You're welcome!  I actually tried manipulating the LED's using Geforce Experience and got nothing. I believe those adjust the reference models? Not sure but it didn't work for me.  Sorry to hear you'll have to replace the bridge. Glad the video helped make it clear.  Hopefully the shipping times are quick and painless!

Thanks. Theres a seperate setting for the cards and the SLI bridge. Mine are reference cards though.

RMA is already arranged with the store so im returning it tomorrow. They usually have a quick turnaround time so fingers crossed.

Back to my boring old stock bridge for now. At least its black and not that ugly brown they used to be.

Can you measure the spacing from the top SLI finger to the bottom one?

If it is 60mm, you need this one --> http://www.evga.com/Products/Product.aspx?pn=100-2W-0021-LR

If it is 40mm or 80mm, you need this one --> http://www.evga.com/Products/Product.aspx?pn=100-3W-0031-LR

Anybody knows when they will restock the 60mm 2 way SLI bridges?
Been waiting since last friday, since I found out the SLI bridge I had laying around was damaged.

I will receive my EVGA SLI pro bridge p/n : 100-2W-0021-LR from amazon.ca. Is that part number represent the latest revision ? I receive my EVGA SLI pro bridge and work perfectly well. The revision are 2.0 so it work ok with my 4k samsung display. My flexible cable was the problem causing flicker, stutter and crash. Am I right saying that the flex cable introduced spurious or their is some line missing for the SLI communication between the card ? What is the difference EVGA pro SLI connector and the flex cable ?

So, no 4-way Pro SLI bridges, I guess...
