I finally received mine.

The V8GTS doesnt block RAM slots?
At least for heat spreaders as tall as the Ballistix tactical tracers? 
I can see that it hangs over 2 slots but as far as I can tell the heat spreaders fit under it.

I ditched the V8 GTX, for a CORSAIR Hydro Series H100i Water Cooler.

It just wasn't cooling enough at 4.5GHz. I might just switch to a complete custom dual loop system.

LOL with a little modding if you look real close now there is a sleeved wire  coming out of it that i hooked up to a small strip led like this one with sticky on the back 
 

just grabbed a molex connector ran some sleeved wire to it and  Vooooila and it is something I can remove with out damage to the bridge  
 

Did you use the whole LED strip or did you have to cut it ?  Man I love your idea, I want to try it ASAP... I just bought a second GTX 760.  So I would need the same EVGA (SLI) connector that you purchased ? 

I only used enough to go across the bridge which is 3 LED's you have to cut it close

Cool, so the other end of the LED strip has some kind of connector, to plug in the molex connection ?

I have to take it out tonight to reinstall my third card when I do I will take it apart and post some pictures maybe that will make it easier to understand

WOW, do you really need 3 cards, LOL... Cool bro, I really appreciate if you post the pictures and maybe let me know where I can buy the LED strips at in RED!
 
I am sending back one of my 760 GTX cards because it sounds like its going to explode.  The weird thing is I bought 2 of the same cards but maybe a month apart. One of them looks slightly different.  It is the same part # but for whatever reason one has a plastic cover that covers up the heatsinks on the side... If you look at the side of your video cards in your picture can see your heat sinks. One of my cards looks exactly like that, and the other has a plastic shell covering it.

I currently have the Asus Crosshair formula Z motherboard.  I have the GTX 760 in the first slot and I am waiting on my second GTX 760 to put in the slot beneath it.  In this case , do I need the 2 way SLI or the 2/3 way SLI Bride ? Your help is greatly appreciated, Thanks !
