sweet thanks will just ordered it should be here by Monday. also if I get another bridge to cover the other side will that mess up the cards having two sli bridges? I know its just for looks is what im going for...=]

you can use two bridges side by side but I thought the 2/3 way would work on your board though covering the four fingers.

LOL with a little modding if you look real close now there is a sleeved wire  coming out of it that i hooked up to a small strip led like this one with sticky on the back

just grabbed a molex connector ran some sleeved wire to it and  Vooooila and it is something I can remove with out damage to the bridge

The only reason why I think the 2/3-way SLI bridge may not properly fit the Sabertooth Z87 is because if you refer to the first page, the 3-Way SLI bridge can accommodate 2-Way with DUAL slot spacing where the SLI fingers are 80 mm apart.  Like I mentioned above, the spacing between the SLI fingers on the Sabertooth Z87 is about 65 mm apart, which isn't too far off from 60 mm (the distance between SLI fingers with the 2-way SLI bridge).  80 mm is much longer than 60 or 65 mm, which is why I don't think the 2/3-way bridge will fit.  Of course, I could be wrong unless someone is willing to try it out and confirm it as I do like the wider 3-way SLI bridge and still hoping EVGA comes out with a double wide 2-way bridge lol.

Where there's a will, there's a way. Congrats on your modding It looks great m8
There was a mention in an earlier post on doing it that way for cards that do not have the circuitry in their cards.
And you have proved it works well done

I didn't see this thread before I posted in Modsrigs. Just a thought for those that don't own the 700 series: Link
