Well, I had a moment to drop by the house and do some poking around.  Apparently I do not own a ruler, so I printed (from pdf) a mm ruler and it looks like the 2way SLI bridge would work as the product page notes the plugs are 40mm apart:

That's funny. I got 6cm using my measuring tape from connector to connector on my VI formula bridge.  The product overview even states "Supports 2-Way (with no slot spacing on double width graphics cards)" but your welcome to test it out and let us know how it works :-)

Okay I went through the whole thread and just want to double confirm something: my mobo is an Asus P8Z77-V Pro and I have a 780 in slot 1 and another 780 in slot 3.

Current spacing on my SLi connector between the middle of the 2 SLi black connectors is 60mm exactly: am I SOL and can't use any of those bridges? :(

You are in the same boat as a lot of us ASUS owners.
The bridges will not fit our 60mm spacing.
Hopefully EVGA will make some that will fit.

Why wont it fit the 60mm spacing? The EVGA 2 way bridge has a 60mm spacing while the 3 way bridge has 40mm spacings.

Important update for 2-Way SLI Users!

The 2-Way SLI Bridge will accommodate 2-way SLI with SINGLE slot spacing. Each SLI finger is 60mm apart. Please reference below image:

The 3-Way SLI Bridge can also accommodate 2-Way with DUAL Slot spacing. In this case the fingers are 80mm apart. Please reference below image:
