Count me out now, too. Pre-ordered the RIVBE and will throw the EK blocks on whenever they arrive. I feel like Nate should have taken advantage of the interest in the Dark blocks before Asus rolled out the RIVBE because I can't see many people opting for the Dark when the BE is available... only reason would be to save a few bucks imo. Glad I didn't put down a deposit, personally I'd be pretty upset after 6-weeks of no action.
 
Keep it up though, nateman...  I may no longer be interested in the Dark blocks but I still have a lot of respect for what you're doing. No hard feelings but it is just taking a lot longer than I had anticipated. Best of luck!

Absolutely agreed, not annoyed at all. Very lucky that we have someone like you to do these custom blocks for us. So it's not a jab at you nateman_doo, just would have liked this to come a little quicker, or even maybe a little more contact to handle our expectations.

I am sorry to all, I have been away on orders and I am back home trying to catch up with things.  I haven't touched my PM's and will try to address them shortly.  I have so much going on in life, and trying to keep my house from falling apart as well.  There are much needed repairs that I also have to attend to.  You guys have been extraordinarily patient with the process but one person servicing an entire community is extremely difficult.  I am torn between orders from 3 different forums and just random e-mails/orders from passer-by's.  This is why I don't accept labor monies, only raw materials deposits.  I have a lump of copper for everyone who paid for it.  Your block is in there... I just have to extrude it ;)
 
Thank you all for the words of encouragement, I still have to maintain a household as well and these are done with the spare time that I have (maybe 2-3 hours every other day, or daily)  I have had a re-tasking at work which doesn't allow me the time at work to do some of the small annoying tasks like tapping and O-rings which I used to do at work.  That took a huge amount of time constraints which left me to do just the machining at home and the finishing at work.  Now I have to do it all at home.

It's been over 6 weeks now since I put down my deposit, and it doesn't look like the ASRock Xtreme11 board blocks are finished yet either, which likely means these are a few more weeks/months away yet. I feel like we have been very patient and understanding especially as this is a 'home-operated' business and trying to squeeze family life in also... However...
 
As much as I love the look and 'custom'-ness of a Nateman_doo block, The Asus RIVE-BE will be here shortly and EK have confirmed they will be making a block for it. So between the time it's taking for a block for the Dark, and also the fact that the Dark seems to still have a very hit and miss BIOS I'm starting to think about switching...

If it's only 1 or 2 weeks away, then I'm happy to wait, but if it's going to be another month...

Thanks for the update nateman_doo, I understand that there is more to your life than just making blocks for these communities, and I promise you, I'm not annoyed or even frustrated.
 
I just would like to finish my PC as having it currently half done is starting to drive me crazy. 
 
I just see the RIVE BE as a possibly faster way of achieving this.

Just do what you can do.  I think most of us really just enjoy the creativity and ability you display.  For me it's not important to water cool.... but I am glad you have the talent, ability and equipment to make it happen. 
 
Everyone I believe understands this is a one man show.  I wish you well and I really and truly mean it.

I am still waiting on a few other things so no big deal for me.  Thanks for the update and the house comes first.  If it falls down you can't do any blocks.

I've decided I'll get both, I'll use the better performer in my Gaming PC and the other in GF's Gaming PC.
 
So I'm still in for these blocks when they arrive.
